Bracelet is done by a silver artisan attributed to Valentin Vidaurreta who was known for voluptuous floral design and influenced in Pineda’s design early training. This quoted in “Mexican Silver” book by Penny Merrill and Carole Berk. Most likely done around 1941-1952. Nice chunky floral leaves with two round orbs surround and close with a snap in closure with safety chain. Center oval shape amethyst is set in silver bezel with twisted rope finish. Seven hinged stations and one on each side of center stone. When closed it measures 6 7/8” and weighs 54 g. Condition is very good and is consistent with age. A real stunner.
