Vintage Mexican Alpaca Hinged Panel Bracelet with Art Foil Cabochons

Six panel bracelet with art foil cabochons on alpaca silver and stamped “Hecho En Mexico” and an Eagle head. The stamp was used to look like the sterling stamp used between the late 1940’s until 1980. Although not real silver, the patina on the bracelet is gorgeous, and truly highlights the intricate work on each panel. It is also a piece of history. Also, common to vintage Mexican jewelry are these faux opals made of resins and foil to mimic the gorgeous colors of the gemstone. Approximately 7” x 1” Excellent vintage condition. There is bend in the side of one of the panels but it isn’t obvious and could be put back into shape with pliers and a little elbow grease.
