What are the measurements from armpit to armpit for a 48R?
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun I’ll have those measurements shortly
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun Hi armpit to armpit just shy of 25”
May 21Reply

aoyeledun
@tuxedojunction thank you! And what about the sleeve length and shoulder width? Also, it is classic or slim fit?
May 21Reply

aoyeledun
@tuxedojunction and it is American sizing, correct?
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun These are vintage. It’s a classic fit.
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun American sizing. Sleeve length can be altered before shipping out to what you need it to be.
Reg. Jackets have a sleeve length of 17-17.5
May 21Reply

aoyeledun
@tuxedojunction ok so the 48R can fit a big guy? And for me being that I’m 5’11, would the sleeve length be around 25-26”
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun no there is no such sleeve length.
You measure from inside the arm pit to the end of the cuff straight down.
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun I regret to inform you that this jacket has a tiny hole near the back shoulder. Just discovered while measuring. The best I can do is sell you the jacket for $20
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
Sorry for the inconvenience
May 21Reply

aoyeledun
@tuxedojunction would I be able to see the hole in a picture?
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun no it’s on the back up high
May 21Reply

aoyeledun
@tuxedojunction so you can’t post it just for me to see it?
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun I just added the picture temporarily to the listing so you can see it.
May 21Reply

aoyeledun
@tuxedojunction hmm I’m not even sure a dry cleaners can see that together being it’s in the outer part of the blazer
May 21Reply

tuxedojunction
@aoyeledun let me know what your decide. I could not just send it to you after seeing that.

May 29Reply

tuxedojunction
@barkley_20677 the length of sleeve or jacket?
Jacket length is pretty standard but I’ll get for you shortly
May 29Reply

tuxedojunction
It’s a standard suit length which is 34.5-35 for a suit. This jacket is 35

@tuxedojunction can I get the following measurements on the 44r please:
Pit to pit
Length from base of collar to hem
Sleeve length (shoulder to cuff)
Sleeve inseam
Shoulders
Very interested. May even buy multiple of other sizes.
Thank you.
Apr 25Reply

tuxedojunction
@mikei90 I can get the measurements when we are open. On the East coast we are closed.
The sleeve on the jacket can be hemmed at no charge to whatever length you need.
Apr 25Reply

mikei90
@tuxedojunction it would need to be let out for me if anything. 26/27” sleeve works best for me as I’m typically 44L. Trying to put a stroller together for myself and some for my groomsmen potentially if it isn’t awful to do so.
Apr 25Reply

tuxedojunction
@mikei90 I think you are measuring jacket sleeve wrong. It’s from the armpit down inside sleeve. Longs are usually around an 18 an extra long for a man 6’4” and up runs around 20”
No jacket sleeve measures 26/27 inches
Apr 25Reply

mikei90
@tuxedojunction I understand. Many people measure it the other way because of armholes varying in height especially because of vintage garments. Don’t know how else to take the measurement otherwise. In shirts I wear 35” sleeves.
Apr 25Reply

tuxedojunction
@mikei90 you would need an 18 In sleeve. No worries.
Apr 25Reply

mikei90
@tuxedojunction you wouldn’t happen to have or be able to source the proper waistcoats and trousers for these too, would you?
Apr 25Reply

tuxedojunction
@mikei90 I’ll look into that tomorrow and get back to you. When is the event?
Apr 25Reply

mikei90
@tuxedojunction Nov 26th. Worst comes to worst I know how to get the trousers. The waistcoats are harder.
Apr 25Reply

tuxedojunction
@mikei90 ok great we have time. I’ll get back to you.
Apr 25Reply

mikei90
@tuxedojunction are these old rentals?
Apr 25Reply

tuxedojunction
@mikei90 Yes they are vintage rentals.

robbvb77
Hi what do the sleeves look like? Sewn on buttons or working, or none at all?
Nov 01Reply

tuxedojunction
@robbvb77 no buttons. We can put buttons on the sleeves if you want
Nov 01Reply

robbvb77
@tuxedojunction How much extra would that be?
Nov 02Reply

tuxedojunction
@robbvb77 no extra
Nov 02Reply

robbvb77
@tuxedojunction actually, if you’d just be able to send along the eight matching buttons (four for each sleeve) along with the jacket rather than sewing them on, that would be great. I’ve you can do that, I’ll purchase.
Nov 02Reply

robbvb77
Actually never mind, would be great if you can see them on. Would it be four on each sleeve and matching?
Nov 02Reply

tuxedojunction
@robbvb77 There are no buttons on this jacket. 4 matching of course can be sewn on each sleeve if you want at no extra charge if you purchase.
Nov 02Reply

robbvb77
@tuxedojunction Fantastic, let’s do that. I’ll purchase now.
