Vintage Mens Huffy Thunder Ridge 18 Speed Mountain System Bicycle 22" Frame Used

Pre-owned Vintage 1980's Mens Department Store Huffy Thunder Ridge 18 Speed Mountain System Wishbone Frame All Terrain Geometry Bicycle 22" Frame. I've cleaned the rust up the best I could, replaced a new tube in rear tire, cut inner tube for rear rim tape, and added a second inner tube to put in between the tire and the inner tube. Everything works except for the front brakes and front drive gearing. Rear gears will shift to all gears but front only stays on lowest sprocket gearing. Cable housings and inner cables will probably need to be replaced as some of the cable housing is dry rotted. Comes with a Serfas top tube frame bag. On a side note: I noticed that the front wheels are 27" while the rear is a 26". Previous owner(s) have installed a 27" fork and fork nut doesn't sit flush to the bearing cups on the headset. Spacers also seem to be missing on the quil steering stem. Other than all of that, I got the bike to at least be able to ride and will need more work to be in tip top shape again. Great for a bicycle mechanic (was a project bike myself).
