Vintage Mattel Barbie Doll Mrs P.F.E. Albee Avon Lady

For your consideration is one Vintage Mattel Barbie Doll. This is an AVON exclusive. Mrs P.F.E. Albee Avon Lady Special Edition 1997 Second in a series. She is wearing a vintage dress in pops of yellow and pink, white gloves, complete with adornments of "pearls" and a feathered hat. She is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the story. The Story: The year is 1886 and Persis Foster Eames Albee had just celebrated her 50th birthday when she accepted a job with David H. McConnell to work for his new endeavor, the California Perfume Company. This business would one day become Avon. He had hired Mrs. Albee to be the first door to door saleswoman and the first Avon lady. The box is damaged She appears never to have been removed from the box The box contains a sales case. There is a stand included. I have never removed her from the box to inspect her. She appears in excellent condition Disclosure: All my items are vintage and have vintage wear.
