Stunning vintage 1980s plisse evening gown attributed to Mary McFadden. Peachy shell pink satin Fortuny style marii micro pleats (also called mushroom pleating). High boat neck and square low back, long voluminous sleeves, wide shouldered silhouette with attached shoulder pads, long pleated skirt, and waist narrowing center panel with a rhinestone and mini pearl brooch detail. Absolutely lovely hand sewn details one would expect from a McFadden gown; the lining is sewn in by hand as well as the piping on the cuffs. Missing the McFadden label(Saks Fifth Avenue)
