Vintage Mary Chess Tapestry Cream Perfume Gold Tone Hinged Compact Ornate

This Lovely Vintage Mary Chess Tapestry Cream Perfume Gold Tone Hinged Compact Ornate is a rare find. Accented on one side with ruby red rhinestones. Tapestry was launched in 1934, Mary Chess, a perfumer, made fragrances using all natural ingredients. This piece still has some of the creamed perfume inside. The creamed perfume inside can be worn or removed and replaced with a mini photo, locket style, and worn around your neck as a pendant using your own gold style chain of choice. Measures approx. 2” X 1 1/2”. Keep in mind that this is a rare vintage piece. There is missing center stone on one side (not terribly noticeable) and minor discoloration due to age. I believe this dates from the 30s to the 60s.
