Vintage Marine Corps Wool Sweater 38

Vintage 1986 military issue Marine Corps sweater. Olive green. 100% wool with fabric patches on epaulettes and sleeves. Manufactured by Mitt’s Knits for the USMC DLA100-86-C-0573. I’ve seen this style described as a commando sweater, but I don’t know the official name. Size 38. Does have a fair amount of stretch. Approximate measurements, taken on the outside of the garment laid flat, unless specified are - Shoulder: 17.5” seam to seam Pit to Pit: 16.5” Length: 25” Sleeve: 25” sleeve (cuffed). Flaws: One pulled thread on back near neck (pictured).
