tabithateller Hi, Thank you for reaching out! I am an MB veteran and almost always run into sizing inconsistency depending upon style. Flats, open backed mules 40, slings/105mm heels 39.5, booties 40…. I have never bought a 40.5. Could you please share your regular sizing? Do these run very short?

laceyterenzio @tabithateller hi, these are a consignment .. i’m an 8 so i won’t be able to determine if they are much of a difference besides measuring with measuring tape if that helps?

tabithateller @laceyterenzio Hi, If it’s convenient to measure the bottom of the shoe from the tip of the sole to where the back of the actual shoe ends (rather than where the heel ends - sometimes the heel is recessed under the actual back of the shoe to minimize the appearance of length (lmk if that doesn’t make sense!), that would help! My flat MBs are open back mules or sandals in a 40, so returning to a closed-back loafer may require the 40.5. Thanks in advance!
