Vintage MCM 1960’s Marcrest Alpine Swiss Chalet Vegetable Bowl 10 in. This is a very pretty MCM Vegetable bowl. Marcrest’s Swiss Alpine Chalet pattern is a classic example of Mid-Century Modern design. The pattern is pretty blue flowers, blue and green leaves arranged in a circle on a white bowl with blue trim on the edge. It is good quality. It would look great in a retro kitchen. It has been used frequently since it was originally purchased in the 60’s. It can still be used or it would look great in a display case. Height 2.25 in Depth 2 in Diameter 10 in Weight 3 lbs In good condition. There are no chips. There is a small hairline crack and crazing as is common with Marcrest pieces.
