Vintage MCM 1950’s Anchor Hocking Fire King Exxon Tiger Milk Glass Coffee Mug

Back in the 1960s, Esso gas (now known as Exxon), had the slogan, "Put a tiger in your tank". This promotional mug was part of that era of their promotions. It is an Anchor Hocking Fire-King "D" handled milk glass mug, featuring the printed graphics of their mascot, the Esso Tiger. This mug is in good condition. It is solid, but does have some scratches and age staining, especially in the usable areas like the handle and the bottom and the pressed glass seams; and the Esso Tiger graphics are in very good condition. With a good washing, I think that this could easily be cleaned to perfection. So, "Put a Tiger in Your Tank" today, with this very retro advertising Fire-King milk glass mug!
