This is a vintage Louis Vuitton bag. I'm not selling just yet. I found on a garage sell site from a friend of the family. She assured me its authentic. My mother in law who has quite a huge collection of vintage and modern LVs looked at it and said that she had one of these as one of her first LV handbags. However, she couldn't remember the name of the bag. Can any of you help me out on its name and help verify authenticity?

blessed427 @aerialgirl I haven't noticed any codes but I'm not sure if its precode. The lining is not in good shape and honestly wondering if it even has one. It's pretty worn. If I found out it was for sure real I was just going to send to an authorized LV personnel to repair all it needs. Thanks so much. I will email you pics. Any additional help is very welcome.

iconicfashion @blessed427 @aerialgirl one thing about the Vintage pieces that had the leather patch in the bags is that they were not heat stamped.. They were left blank so people could customize it with their initials.. Etc.. And the only bags that had the oval patch like this is the ones made for Saks.. Way back when.. Should not be heat stamped. It should also say Louis Vuitton for Saks. So from my experience with Vintage pieces I will say this is not authentic.
