Reel in the nostalgia with this vintage fishing lures set. They're perfect for reminiscing about the one that got away. Just don’t blame the fish if they’re not biting; these lures are more charming than appetizing - and perfect for decoration. Who needs fish when you have a story to tell?
One lure (Green shown) is a true classic - fish decoy by Leroy Howell (1900-1989), Hinkley, Minn. Time period collected from estate mid 1930's to 1950. This is one of the best preowned original collection Leroy Howell pieces I've ever come across.
I was unable to verify maker of the smaller red and white lure.
• Includes 2 wooden hand-carved and hand-painted fish-shaped ice lures
• Vintage String wrapped on wooden holder (brittle, not useable)
• Classic design with eye-catching colors
• Ideal for display or collection
Smaller is cream / white with red and larger is green with cream.
Vintage Fishing, Angler Gift
These would also be amazing for a cabin owner, outdoorsman looking for decor heavy with history or vacation rental home owner wanting to decorate with authentic to it's time items.

@impeachtrump Hi, are you asking if it is signed? If so, I have never seen one with an actual signature (online or in person). The collector I'm selling for had this as part of an extensive group of Leroy Howell lures.

@elizabeth_heart I have collected a lot of ice fishing decoys over the past 40 years & many of the more elaborate ones are signed, which is why I’m asking. Thanks for getting back to me

@impeachtrump oh yes, I get that! I asked the family and they said the collection that was handed down was made to fish and mostly purchased locally in Central MN at the time. :)
