Rare gem of a vintage 1980s Laura Ashley 1920s-style sailor dress in perfect condition. Purchased in England, this is one of the most elegant and classic dresses the Laura Ashley company ever made. Black fabric with delicate grey pattern and black satin ribbon that ties at the bottom of the V collar. Can be worn as a V-neck or with button-in modesty panel shown in photo. 1920s-style dropped waistband has double pleats at top and bottom. Sailor collar also features double pleat detail. One inch hem in case lengthening is required. 83% cotton, 17% wool is easy care. An elegant dress for office wear, or appropriate attire for a memorial service. Wear with white stockings and black Mary Jane heels for a real 20s retro look!
