Beautiful example of this well known artist's design and workmanship. Note that the sterling flower is set onto three silver bands - which indicates it is vintage as in later years Nye bracelets only have two. I took it to the Nye studio and it was verified to be from a very early collection from the mid-1900s. So although Nye dogwood designs are very popular this is a really unique piece. And special because they haven't been made this way for a long time - and now since the Nye studio is closing it is even more of a collector's item. The flower is about 2 1/4 in. in length and 1 1/4 in. in width and the bracelet weighs a solid substantial 24 grams It measures around 5 1/4 in. around the inside plus a 1 1/3 in. gap - that is slightly adjustable. Marked with the Nye hallmark and for sterling. Diplays the old silver glow and some nice patina. Looks and feels wonderful on!
