jewelrygirlmg @aisaamor2 it's a way to describe the edge of glass or stone. It means that edge is rough like it has had teeny tiny flea bites taken out of it. This is my aunt's item. She's downsizing, and she said it's from pre 1930s, so the fact that it is still intact is amazing to me!
