Vintage Large Purple Amethyst Pendant Set in Sterling Silver Scrollwork

Large, beautiful deep purple Amethyst pendant with a bezel that opens to attach to chains & pearls with magnet to secure it closed. It is designed to be able to put on pieces that don't have a clasp such as pearls like I pictured for an example. THE PENDANT IS FOR SALE ONLY, not the chains or the pearls. This is a substantial piece and needs large chains or pearls to hang from. I've owned it for 20 years. It's a lovely, unique piece but I didn't wear it much after I purchased a large Amethyst Cross. It has checkerboard facets on the stone. I videoed the pendant on 2 strands of my pearls. I had to do it with 1 hand so I popped open the magnetic back so you can see how it can be put on pieces that don't have a clasp. I don't know the carat weight of the stone.
