Vintage Large Gigantic 1940’s Black Wool Evening Bag Purse Clutch w Lucite Clasp

This 1940’s black wool vintage clutch is gigantic and such a neat statement piece! Lovely folds in the fabric, and a gorgeous cylinder lucite clasp. The inside is lined in satin and has two small side pockets (I believe one for lipstick!). In good vintage condition. Please see all photos, descriptions, and reach out with any questions! The most wear is shown at the top of the purse, where the fabric has worn thin. Silver metal shows at each corner and underneath the clasp. It looks like one of the corners was repaired with thread although there is still some silver poking through. Tarnishing to the gold hardware that holds the lucite clasp, and surface wear to the lucite piece. Please remember with vintage, some flaws may be hard to catch or notice. Measures 17” across and 8.5” tall from top of clasp to bottom. Could extend up to 3.75” wide. From smoke free and cat friendly home.
