Vintage * LARGE heavy CUT Lead CRYSTAL Glass DECANTER STOPPER Topper Replacement

Vintage * When unpacking from a move recently, I found this GORGEOUS cut lead crystal DECANTER TOPPER ~ which I think went on one of my grandfather's cut crystal decanters (but I haven't seen that in years ~ and he passed in 1967). It would be a SHOWSTOPPER if you need a replacement for a decanter that you have ~ or even to use as a paperweight or decorative item. It's quite heavy for what it is (weighs just under 12 oz). It measures 3" across the BASE, and the base is just about 1" thick with deep vertical cuts all around. There's a smooth little "step" on top of the base, just before the "stem" starts. The STEM is about 1-1/2" tall and 3/4" across at the end. It's smooth (not frosted and no rubber or plastic at all). The stem is flat, as you can see from the photos, because I was able to stand the topper up. There's a deeply cut starburst on top, and the line that you see running around just inside the edge of the top (when you look down into it) is actually where the little "step" is on the bottom side of the top (does that make sense?)* It's really BEAUTIFUL and deserves to be on someone's prized decanter again!
