Vintage? Kenar Studio BLUE stripe pants sleeveless top set small medium 10 12

Top says medium, pants say small but have tie waist so adjustable and fit more like a medium. Pants may have been worn a few times but Im 99% sure the top never was. Im thinking this was from the 90s but Ive had it so long I dont remember. Please feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase :)
