Vintage Kaftan Gold Cream 1940's 1950's The Hecht Co British Hong Kong One Size

This stunning early 20th century gold and cream metallic kaftan Believed to be circa 40's-50's Made expressly for The Hecht Co in British Hong Kong Size Large (but will fit range of sizes, see measurments) 56.5" total length Laying flat total width is 40.5" (see picture) Lining pit to pit lay flay is 24" Gold metallic and cream Will fit a range of sizes, possibly but not guaranteed to fit medium-XXL but please see provided measurements. Mannequin is a size medium Made with rayon, acetate, nylon and metallic Item in overall great vintage condition, only main flaws noted is that is has some signs of make up/wear around the inside collar. Few light stains that may be removable with proper care or treatment. No holes or rips. Believed to be made prior to 1959 due to the fact that Hecht's was founded and operated for over a century (1857–1959) as a family firm. It was purchased in 1959 by The May Department Stores Company and changed names. As well as the zipper is believed to be circa 1940's.
