Two-tier vintage jewelry box lined in hot pink sateen, circa 1950s. Black faux leather with gold accents—including vine-like border and center medallion. Brass hardware (hinges and lock). Design reminiscent both of French antique vanity (or sewing) boxes as well as Chinese black lacquer. Rare feature: includes original key for locking! What I love most about this jewelry case is it’s refined antique-style exterior paired with its surprise fun, colorful interior. It’s holds a lot! Measures 9 3/4” wide x 6 3/4” deep x 3 1/2” high. Stands 9 1/4” high and 8 1/4” deep when opened. One large interior compartment plus four divided sections on the upper tier for organizing your rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, etc. Good vintage condition with some signs of age and use, including wear on exterior corners and top (as pictured).
