Vintage Japanese Imari Demitasse Cup With Cranes and Clouds Over Waves Design on Red Background Dark red background, cranes, and gold outline of the clouds are over the glaze, whereas the waves are in underglaze blue. Gold highlights around the rim, around the clouds, and on the handle. Marked 高橋商會 (Takahashi Shokai). I believe these were produced around the 1980s, but not sure about the date. Excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or damage. Dimensions are approx. 2.5" high, 2.25" diameter cup, and 3.25" length including the handle.
