Vintage Japanese Akasuke Ginbari Vase

Vintage Akasuke Pigeon Blood Red Ginbari Cloisonné enameled vase Matched pair. Beautifully decorated floral, bamboo & birds. The red color, known as Akasuke or pigeon blood takes many years to learn the technique used by skilled craftsman to produce the bamboo & bird design through glaze then painted with beautiful floral design on exterior. These are in excellent pre-owned condition, they are vintage and will show signs of wear and fading. You will receive 2 vases, they measure: 7” Tall X 4” Width X 2 1/2” top opening, bottom base is 2 1/2” width. Wood stands are included and are a newer addition. Delightful to display anywhere. Comes from a non-smoking & perfume free household.
