I take lots of photos for this purpose so please look closely. - Overall, this is really excellent except for the one issue I show in the last 3 photos. ***there was an area on the bottom rim where it looks like it probably bumped something hard. There’s a small crack in it. It is still attached.*** - the inside bottom of the pedestal has what looks like a bit of hard water residue. I’m not sure it could be from production. - Someone also marked this with a black marker in that same underneath area, which is mostly off. - the inside part of the mug is really in great condition - the floral design was painted on his glaze before it was fired - the green stoneware has a very nice natural look to it This vintage Japanese mug is a unique addition to your collection.
