I believe the material is woven from Processed Stalks of the Abaca Tree, native to The Philippines. (Not Sure) The Hat is Black with Dark Red Velvet Flowers and Stems on the Crown, They Cascade Down To The Back Where The Fabric Folds Inward With A Dark Red Velvet Ribbon At Back. This is A Cap Style with a Platter Top.. Size is 23 Inches. Purchased in The 1990's. THERE ARE NO COPIES ! ! Absolutely Stunning ! Very Classy. Ideal for The Derby, Church, Tea, Etc.
