Vintage J.R.R. Tolkien Elvish script sterling silver ring, LOTR

"My Precious! O my Precious!" "Curse the Baggins! It's gone!" "Lost! Lost! My Precious is lost!!" I swear, this ring kept disappearing on me while I was rearranging things trying to take photos, as if it wants to remain dormant, undisturbed. Ok, so more like I'm horribly disorganized, and can't remember where I put things. But weirdly, it kept slipping out of my hand time and time again. Tired of hearing yours truly whine about the ring's misbehavior, my son said, "Just put on a fanny pack and keep it in there, before you loose it again". No! No wearing of any kind of fanny pack while walking around the house (gag!). I have standards... and an obvious lack of common sense. This vintage Lord of the Rings inspired sterling silver ring came from Great Britain, of course, home of J.R.R. Tolkien and Gandalf. It was well loved, a favorite of someone, evidenced by some fading of the script from rubbing on one small outer surface area. The etching on the inside is still prominent and distinctive. Don't worry, this Precious will not disappear into the abyss with Gollum, despite it's many attempts. I found a safe place to put it, until some brave soul decides to take ownership.
