Vintage J. C. Higgins forged steel horseshoe

This is from the 1950’s and featured in Sear’s catalogs. Sears eventually hired Mr. J. C Higgins to create a line of outdoor sporting goods merchandise for sale in the stores. I see a bit of blue paint on the ends and the horseshoes are stamped- Forged Steel J.C. Higgins Official 2.5 pounds. Non smoking home.
