Vintage Iridill Orange Carnival Glass 8" Decorative Bowl

Orange Carnival Glass is molded or pressed glass with an iridescent surface which shimmer has been applied. In the 1950's collectors gave them out as prizes! This dish woud be perfect in a lighted cabinet as it catches the lights. It measures 8" across by almost 2 1/2" high. It has raised "bubbles" around the sides of bowl and raised pyramids on the bottom of bowl. There is also a snowflake looking octagon shaped indention around sides. The one on the bottom is slightly raised. My grandma had bowls looking like this and I was always fascinated with them. It is a beautiful addition to any home!
