Vintage Iridescent butterfly Wing Oval Pin Convex Curved Glass Sailboat Scene

An iridescent butterfly wing with a beautiful hand-painted scene--palm trees; seagulls; a yellow, orange, and red sailboat. The oval glass has a convex curve--when you turn the pin, the background changes from teal to blue to purple, just like the setting and rising sun and water.  This is an antique vintage (exact year of origin is not known) Gold tone frame and functional pin in the back.  Some wear but a gorgeous piece and an heirloom.  Measurements:about 1.45" wide about 1.25" high Some general wear and surface scuffs from age.
