This is a vintage Chinese puzzle ball w/stand Hand carved ball with at least 5 layers I can count The stand has a tiny puzzle ball inside with three layers Looks like a dragon motif on the balls I'm unsure of the material this is made of The stand measures 7" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter at the base - the ball is about 2 1/4" in diameter Off-white color that makes it look like ivory/bone color
