Vintage Industrial Desk Lamp - Machine Age Task Light - Cast Iron - Steampunk. This large vintage desk lamp symbolizes early 20th century industrial lighting design style. It features steel articulating arms, cast iron joints, a heavy cast iron prop-style base and an updated cord with toggle switch. It has a large bell-shaped metal lamp shade and the entire lamp is in an oil-rubbed bronze finish. Three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. An antique valve handle has been added to the center joint to make re-positioning easier. The valve handle adds a rustic look with it's rough finish next to the smooth finish in the arms. Lamp weighs nearly 15 pounds and will make a very cool statement in any room.
