Vintage Imperial Carnival Glass Sunset Ruby Red Acanthus Leaf Compote

Characteristic of carnival glass, this stunning iridescent compote in shades of red and orange is adorned with a raised acanthus leaf pattern. This vintage piece has “IG”, for Imperial Glass impressed on the bottom of the foot. Due to the cadmium content in the glass, this compote glows under UV light-see photos. This compote is 6 inches in diameter and is 5 1/4 inches tall, and is in excellent preloved, vintage condition with no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs.
