Vintage Iittala Tapio Wirkkala Thule Bowl

Tapio Wirkkala did it again with this cute little Ultima Thule bowl. This line designed for Iitalla in the late 1960s was crafted in wooden molds, which gives it a very organic look. The glass is clear, but it is anything but boring - from the bark-like texture of the sides, to the bubbles on the bottom - with three of those bubbles sticking out slightly further, turning them into feet for the little bowl. Measures approximately 4.25" in diameter and stands at 2" high. In perfect vintage condition. Happy to answer any questions and willing to accept any reasonable offers.
