Vintage intricately hand woven basket from the nomadic tribal area of northern Thailand between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, also known as the Golden Triangle.  Made of scarce tropical forest collected Yan Lipao vine and rattan, the design of each piece is unique, well made and sturdy.  Perfect for a high-end Easter or other special day basket of goodies as well as being a unique decorative piece.  We have very few of these left and cannot obtain any more.  This piece measures 15“x11“x8“ for the basket portion EXCLUDING the handle. The condition is new old stock, it has never been used.
