Own a piece of fashion history with this Rare Vintage Helene Arpels skirt from 40s to 50s. ❤️ Blue Pencil Skirt ❤️ Pre-loved I’m good condition, two small runs by the waist and bottom front (see photos) Helene Arpels was a prominent model/shoe designer in the 1940s to 1950s. Her chic style combined with eye for detail and demand for quality made her a force in the fashion world for decades. Some of her shoe designs have become permanent collection in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Helene passed away in 2006 leaving a legacy in fashion and design.
