This necklace, purchased in Kauai, is so interesting. With a tightly woven 'base' in different techniques, it's very strong. Hanging from the base are authentic shells mixed with brass beads. It has a shell clasp as well. There's some discoloration because of the brass and aging, but it's still stunning!
