Vintage Hanover Hook for Buttoning up Shoes

Button up shoes were worn in the 1800 and up until WW1. To speed up the process of buttoning up shoes and boots, this hook was invented. The hook was made by the Hanover Co. in 1899 in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
