Vintage Handmade Painted Oval Shaker Box Sewing Basket with Lid Flowers Signed

Oval shaped wood box with lid, handmade with the artisan's initials on the inside of the lid. Cream color with hand stenciled painted flowers, the lid and body are both lined in padded fabric. This would make an excellent small sewing kit or trinket box. Slight markings and discolorations as shown, nothing unsightly, and lends to the charm of this vintage 1970s-80s piece. Approximately 8.25"x7" wide at the lid, and 4.25" high with the lid. Estate Sale find left in "as found" condition - aside from a possible swipe for dust, no repair, cleaning or alteration attempts have been made on our part. Personal note: Please forgive any background chaos that may appear in some of our photos. We moved in July 2022, combining home and office into one house. Due to long contractor wait lists, our planned office space will not have their attention until spring 2023 at the earliest, so you may see product photos being taken in our home which is still very much a work in progress with piles of boxes and tools. This home is smoke free, with pets (cats and rabbit, but rest assured they are not permitted access to work surfaces), and may have traces of scented laundry products as our work and home appliances are currently shared. Items are stored off site in a clean and climate controlled location, we will visit up to twice a week to ship orders.
