Vintage Handmade Clay Sculpture of an Owl Perched in a Tree

This handmade sculpture is made of clay and features an owl perched in a tree. The tree has a darker coloring and textured effect, while the owl is a lighter hue. The owl has two inlaid eyes which give it such personality. The entire piece measures about 5.75" tall and 5" wide - a quarter has been included in one of the photos for scale. The lower back edge has an artist's signature or marking present - it appears to be a C with the initials HW inside (see detail photo).
