Handmade in Appalachia late 70s - mid 80s at the latest. I remember making things like these as a kid in the 70s, (mine never came out this well, though!) there were patterns you could buy as well as the handles. The inside lining of this bag was made on someone's sewing machine. There are no labels. The macrame work is extremely well done. Bag is washable.
