Vintage Handmade Art Deco Fringe Table Lamp

This beautiful piece featured at MOMA, Whitney Museum, and the Art Institute of Chicago, was made and signed by artist Art Donovan in 1992. The base is Maplewood that has been hand painted and washed over with gold. The shade is spun filament fiberglass, the finest light-conducting material used for lampshades. The gold fringe is vintage Italian. This is truely a work of art.
