Vintage Handmade 1950s Blue Satin rose & Tulip Floral Applique Cocktail dress

This dress features short sleeves with a wide boat neckline, fitted waist, tulip style front skirt with elegant floral rosettes and dual toned blue velvet leaves and raised textured flower stem, pleats in front and full pleats in back skirt, skirt has tulle inside. metal back zipper. bodice is faced with lighter blue fabric, skirt is not. would need a slip if your don't want to tulle directly against your legs. This dress is really elegant and a work of art. its hard to put a date on but looks like it may be from the 1950s or 1960s. There is a tag inside but it's hard to decipher. seems custom made. Please note: some fading on fabric, mostly on the rosettes and on inner lining. armpit staining which only shows on inner lining. some pulls on fabric, all minor.
