Vintage Hand-Painted Lipstick Case. Eastern Desert Scenes Elephant Camel People

Red velvet on the base & inside bottom. Case measures 3-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1-11/16". Artwork was shellacked protect paint which looks like it's yellowed a bit over time. PLEASE NOTE the shellac & paint chipped off on 3 small areas on the lid See last 2 pics for examples. Scenes include people riding in a carriage sitting atop an elephant, cherry blossom tree, flowers, camels, a person carrying a shield & sword. Please Note the shellac & paint chipped off on 3 small areas on the lid. Although I know it's vintage, I don't know how old it is. I bought it with a lot of vintage & antique items about 25 years ago. Nor do I know if the scenery is Asian or Middle Eastern.
