Vintage Hand Screw Driven Mixer & Wisk

This was a housewife's delight in the 1930's and 1940's. This is hand screw driven mixer, blender, whisk that was easy and fun to use. All one has to do is push down and the spiral rod spins the beater. It is a whisk or mixer that uses an up and down mechanism. It has wire rings radiating from the central metal cap on the mixing end, and has a wooden handle at the end of the metal casing that is knob-shaped. It is painted red and shows some wear and tear. Popular in England and the United States. Below the wooden handle, there is a markings on the metal that say Made in USA PROV.
