Vintage Mexico folk art fish wood carving. - Solid wooden fish painted with colorful scenes of life in Mexico. - This piece stands out for its high level of detail. The fish itself has hand marked scale details and carved fin patterning. The scenes on its sides include people harvesting crops and wood, cooking, and eating in a village setting. - Good condition. Some surface wear to paint and discoloration it seems from the glaze used in places. There is a minor split on tail which might have been part of nature of original wood used.
