This is a hand knit sweater, probably from the 1980's in the color ecru. It was probably purchased from a store that sold hand knit fashion and did not sew the label into the sweater. The sweater is designed with six brass buttons that are embossed with an image of Napoleon Bonaparte--how cool! It is in very nice condition for age--no holes or tears. It has been professionally cleaned, and is ready to ship with tissue paper folds, new plastic garment bag, and box with top opening. I am marking the sweater a size medium: 36" bustline and 33" long. The shoulders are dropped so I can't accurately measure shoulders or sleeve length. The sweater also has two front pockets and a nice shawl collar. The wool is fairly soft, and the fit is very comfortable. It will probably become your favorite go to sweater once you try it on!
