Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Black Buddha Statue From Vietnam Army 1965 See Notes

This hand carved black wood Buddha was purchased by my Dad in 1965, during his second tour of Vietnam. In the Army, with the 6th Psychological Operations. It was made by local artist and he brought back with him when he returned to the states. It measures 7 & 3/8 inches tall, 5 & 1/2 inches wide. It’s made of wood, solid piece.
