Gucci belts have 5 holes, and the serial number is in a different place

Yes, ALL G belts have '5' holes. Older G belts have the serial number printed in the middle/newer styles closer to the buckle. ALL G belts have 21 numbers in the serial number with the size/cm measurement within the serial number NOT at the end and NOT separately. At first glance, what throws you off on this belt is that authentic serial numbers do begin with '114' however it's not 21 numbers and the size is separate and at the end. Checkout the Gucci website for authenticity guidelines.

@winstonhernande I bought this along with a small purse and shoes myself in a Gucci store in Miami... you can tell from my closet that I have no problem purchasing Authentic items...

@winstonhernande also I bought this belt when my mom was married to a millionaire when I was about 12 years old, so in 2012. Gave me the cash and I walked right into that Gucci store and bought whatever I wanted. Don’t really have much else to say about that. Sorry if you can’t relate.

So I'm an issue with PM. I have the same belt. Poshmark keep taking down my listing as fraudulent! Which is wrong.
I went to the Gucci store in the Short Hills Mall in NJ where I bought the belt. They looked up the number and reprinted my original receipt circa 2012. I'm here to say that my belt also has 16 numbers. It us obviously 100% authentic. So I'm politely saying the response here are incorrect!

Bad typing. I meant to say that I'm having the same issue with being flag as selling fraudulent merchandise. I'm 46 yos. I have Never, Ever, Ever, Never purchased a knock off in my life. I have the following designer bags all purchased from boutiques: 8 Louis V, 3 Chanels, 2 Fendi and 2 Gucci bags!

I'm going to go back to Gucci and get an Authentication certificate for this but at least now I know why PM keeps deleting my listing for this belt!
Thanks

Hi Lee,
Just sharing my findings with you. I just left the Gucci store @SH mall. They DO NOT provide ANY authentication for small accessories. The receipt is your authentication. Mine was easily reprinted from 2012. Idk what to do about the fact that PM keeps deleting my listing which includes the darn receipt. I will just keep It. It is true that the newer belts are Five digits longer. I will check the Gucci website for how to authenticate older belts. its not fair to call our FAKE. Its a lie!

@luxlifeandstyle I can relate to you! Plus you don't need to be a millionaire to buy a Gucci belt?! They cost $420 at NM and Gucci. The most expensive bag I have is a blue patent Chanel. I paid $6200 FP @Chanel. You don't need to be a millionaire to buy Chanel either.
What I can't relate to is a website that positions itself as a place to buy and sell luxury merchandise and the buyers expect that the stuff is cheap. SMH. GRRRR
