Vintage Gregorian hand-hammered copper pitcher, which can be used as a tea or coffee pot.
Ca. 1950 Handmade in the USA
Material and Design:
It's made of solid copper with a distinctive hand-hammered texture and includes a lid. The pitcher is hand stamped using the nail-head stamping that is most desired before the artisan sold their company to a larger company who moved on to using a branded label attached with rivets - beautiful as well, but lacks the hand-crafted vibes of seeing the artist’s stamping.
This pitcher stands roughly 10 inches high with the lid on. The style “number” for this pitcher is “9 I” which is also hand stamped in the base of the pitcher.
Origin:
These pieces were made in the USA by Gregorian Copper.
Collectible Value:
Vintage Gregorian copper items, including pitchers and coffee pots, are considered collectibles.
Condition:
As a vintage item, it may show signs of wear, such as patina. *PLEASE be mindful of its condition if considering the pitcher for use with liquids for consumption. I would recommend a professional cleaning and lining for consumption use - otherwise, what a chic flower vessel this could be.
